First Time 3G Technology In Bangladesh

Bangladesh is going to launch the 3G (Third Generation) Technology for the first time in its digital age. The 3G Technology will be opened and available for the public on Sunday, 14Th October 2012 in Bangladesh. Honorable prime minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, will start the project through state-owned mobile operator "Teletalk". Prime minister will chat with honorable president of Bangladesh, Mr. Md. Zillur Rahman. The process will be executed through 'Video Calling". 



The 3G Technology project will be started on trial in Bangladeshi now. It will produce more internet speed in  mobile technology. Watching TV (Television) on mobile handset will be also another application. Online path direction through GPS (Global Positioning Systems) and Video conferencing are other mentioned features of 3G Technology in Bangladesh.

Almost three thousand (3,000) retail point and customer service center will sell 3G enabled SIM (Subscriber Identity Module). The customers will also be able to convert their antiqued SIM into 3G module.

Five television channel in Bangladesh will be broadcasting on 3G enabled mobile. These are BTV (Bangladesh Television), Somoy TV, GTV (Gazi Television), RTV and My TV. Other channels will be under 3G Technology later. All other mobile operator will be under 3G Technology by the end this year. 

Only capital based subscribers will be able to access on 3G enabled services. But, whole arena will be under 3G later in Bangladesh. Mobile callers will also get 10 seconds pulse in voice calling.
